Apreciation

Appreciation goes a long way in recognizing of the value or significance of something. It is heartwarming and it is in fact, what a friend of mine calls ‘soliciting for more’.
Two things come to my mind when I think about the word appreciation. First, the act of giving and then receiving.
Ever looked at the face of someone genuinely in need right after you meet their needs? You begin to feel like a super hero. This is because someone in the universe is happy and it’s all because of you.
Now, when you receive, you show gratitude because otherwise you’d still be in want. It’s only natural that when you appreciate what they have done for you, it gladness their hearts, it makes them want to do more. Imagine what the world would be if we had more and more philanthropies’ as a result of how much appreciation we throw out there.
These little things that we neglect go a long way in making our lives near perfect, show someone that you value them and you are glad they are in your life because some day they may not be there, you had wished you did when they are not.
Take these seriously and I bet you, the world would be a better place: ‘’I’ m sorry’’, ‘’please’’, ‘’thank you’’
